A Note From the
Executive Director

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Wouldn't it be nice to take a nice, relaxing vacation to Hawaii? Or perhaps Orlando, FL and Disney World is more to your liking?

Starting today, Faith's Hope Foundation has set a goal to raise $75,000 by June 30, 2007. With the monies we raise, Faith's Hope will be able to aid 30 plus families in need of assistance due to a loved one being hospitalized. The families we help are on the verge of losing their homes, cars, and having their electricity shut off. They are slipping into poverty all because they are being responsible adults and taking care of a loved one and their needs. The good news is that with your assistance, we can meet and hopefully exceed our goal of $75,000! With your support, we can help them maintain their homes, cars and even keep the electricity and gas running.

What does this have to do with a beach vacation, you may ask?

It's called the Fundraising Incentives Program. Each individual who raises a minimum of $500.00 will receive a $50.00 Simon gift card and the opportunity to earn a trip for two to Hawaii,  Disney World in Orlando, FL, or another location in the United States (contact us for a list of available destinations). With every $25,000 raised by all the fundraising efforts, ONE trip becomes available. The person or persons who raises the most money will receive their choice of vacation destinations within the United States. If we reach our goal of raising $75,000, there will be THREE trips available. If, however, we exceed our goal by an additional $25,000, there will be FOUR trips available, and the number of trips will keep climbing in accordance with the funds we raise!

As you can see, it doesn't take much to make yourself eligible for a relaxing vacation, and it's also an incredible opportunity to help a family in need. However, if upon winning a trip you decide you would like to donate it back to Faith's Hope Foundation, you can give it to a family Faith's Hope Foundation assists.

In His care,

Focus Family
The Owens

In August 2006, a hole in Steve Owen's esophagus filled his chest cavity full of stomach acids, which collapsed his lung and put his heart and other organs in great jeopardy. Misdiagnosis at two hospitals held off proper medical treatment for over 38 hours. While his survival can only be contributed to a miracle, two care-flight bills, three major surgeries with ongoing treatment and his inability to return to his previous line of work has left his family's financial security at risk.

Success Story
Michael Nelson
"People always think it can't happen to them. But it can. I know, because it happened to me. Before I even knew what was going on, I was rushed to the hospital and told I needed emergency quintuple bypass surgery. Without that surgery, I would die.

Well, the surgery was a success as I stand here today, but that was only the beginning of the problems. I suddenly found myself inundated with insurmountable bills that incurred during my hospitalization and time away from work. The last thing I needed right then was to be stressed about my finances, and yet I felt completely hopeless."
