De Leon Family

My 12 year-old daughter was diagnosed with Juveniles Huntington’s disease three years ago.  Huntington's disease is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. It slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, think, talk and reason. Eventually, the person with HD becomes totally dependent upon others for his or her care.

Huntington's disease profoundly affects the lives of families -- emotionally, socially and economically. My family and I were to a point where if we couldn’t get the help we needed, we would have been homeless. All my appreciation goes to Faiths Hope Foundation for helping my family. Thank you so much!

Sincerely,
Angela De Leon
